S1 is Solid Silicon's first server and workstation OpenPOWER CPU (POWER ISA v3.1). It uses PCIe Gen 5^[1] and DDR5^[2]. The S1 will be compatible with major x86 HSF's^[3]. PROT_SAO will not be supported^[4].

The S1 was removed from Solid Silicon's website sometime after 2025 Feb 9^[5]. The reasons for removal are unknown.
