Skiroot (Skiroot): A small Linux userspace environment embedded into the platform firmware. Contains a Busybox userspace and the Petitboot bootloader, which is launched automatically at boot. Chainloaded by Skiboot after platform initialization is completed. Generally terminates when the Petitboot bootloader chainloads another operating system using the Linux kernel's kexec functionality.
